Mild Hot Wings

These are classic American hot wings. You can make these easily with either a grill or an oven.

Ingredients
  

  • 25 Drumettes/Wingettes
  • 1 cup Texas Pete *can use any hot sauce*
  • cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat grill or oven to 350°. Cook chicken for 20 mins.
  • While chicken is cooking, combine Texas Pete and butter in a sauce pan on medium heat until butter has melted.
    1 cup Texas Pete, ⅓ cup Butter
  • Add remaining ingredients into sauce pan and mix well.
    1 tsp Sugar, ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper, ½ tsp Garlic Powder, ½ tsp Worcestershire Sauce, ⅛ tsp Black Pepper
  • Once chicken is nearly done cooking, remove from grill and generously coat with sauce. Return chicken to grill for 5-10 mins to finish cooking.

Notes

More or less butter may be used to adjust the hotness of the sauce.
